New International Student Admission Information


(For Individuals Currently in their Native Country)

International students may be accepted for admission to Brazosport College (BC) and a Form I-20 issued when all requirements have been met.  To be admitted and an I-20 issued, the student must submit the following items listed below before the

International Student Application Deadline (Fall Semester: June 1, Spring Semester: October 1):

1.  Application for Brazosport College admission must be completed at apply texas by the application deadline.

2.  Official secondary school record, official college transcript, and an official course by course evaluation for each foreign transcript sent directly to BC.  The list of acceptable credential evaluators.

3.  Sponsor's Affidavit for International Applicants which indicates the sponsor will provide full financial support during the students stay in the United States.  Bank statement of sponsor must show $15,000 U.S. Dollars.

4.  All applicants must take the English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), administered by the Education Testing Service, Princeton, New Jersey. Official Test Scores must be sent to Brazosport College directly from the Education Testing Center.  To be considered for Admission, students must score a minimum score of one of the TOEFL tests listed below:

​Internet Based TOEFL
(IBT)
Computer Based TOEFL
(CBT)​

5. Applicants who will be bringing dependents (spouse or children) must qualify for F-2 Visas. Form must be submitted at the time of application. 



 

International Student Transfer Admission Information

(For Individuals Currently in the United States planning to transfer to Brazosport College)

International Students may be accepted for admission to Brazosport College and a Form I-20 issued, the student must submit the following items listed below before the 

International Student Application Deadline (Fall Semester: June 1, Spring Semester: October 1, Summer Semester: March 15):

1. Application for Brazosport College admission must be completed at apply texas by the application deadline.

2. Official Secondary school record, official college transcript and an official course by course evaluation for each foreign transcript sent directly to BC. The list of acceptable credential evaluators.


3. Sponsor's Affidavit for International Applicants which indicates the sponsor will provide full financial support during the students stay in the United States. Bank statement of sponsor must show $15,000 U.S. Dollars.

6. A written statement on college letterhead from the International Student Advisor at the previously attended college or university indicating the student's status. 

7. Please NOTE: Students who are out of status must file for reinstatement with USCIS prior to being considered for an I-20 from Brazosport College.
