Online Registration Errors

The College is experiencing campus-wide system errors. Anyone attempting to register online may experience delays and/or may not be able to register. We encourage anyone wanting to register today to please come to campus until all systems have been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have this resolved soon.

Virtual Campus (Brightspace/D2L) Down

​Attention minimester students: The College’s online learning system (Brightspace/D2L) is experiencing a major system failure and we are working to restore services. Please work with your instructors to discuss any end of the minimester deadlines that were disrupted. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have things restored soon. Flood Update

​We are open Monday, June 6 and classes are in session. The College is monitoring the surrounding floods. Students affected by flooding should contact their professors concerning your specific classes and needs. If you do not know who your professor is, please call (979) 297-3000. Keep checking for further updates.

Weather Update

​Brazosport College is open. The College is monitoring the situation and any updates will be added to the College website and social media accounts.

October 21
Campus Open for Evening Classes

The campus will be open for evening classes for October, 21. The repairs are complete by CenterPoint Energy and power has been restored across the college campus. ​

Campus Closed Due to Minor Fire and Lack of Power


Day classes are cancelled due to minor fire in college gym and lack of power on campus. Effective immediately, students and staff are asked to leave campus. CenterPoint Energy is working to restore power. Please check the BC Alert website for status of evening classes for Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

Classes Still in Session

Classes are in session for Tuesday evening and Wednesday​. As a result of the storm, power is not reliable. Therefore, there will be no air conditioning due to possible power outages. Computer usage may also be interupted. Contact I.T. for help with technology issues.

Classes Are Not Cancelled

As of 4:30 p.m., classes are not cancelled due to inclimate weather. All Tuesday evening and Wednesday classes will continue as scheduled.

June 15
Campus closed on Tuesday, June 16

The National Weather Service is predicting that our area will be affected by severe weather caused by a tropical disturbance. Included in the prediction is rain up to 10 inches and wind gusts up to 50 MPH. Classes will be in session this evening, Monday, June 15, 2015. However, the College will close all regular operations for Tuesday, June 16, 2015. The Brazosport College Board of Regents will hold its regularly scheduled meeting this evening at 6:30 p.m. All classes and operations will commence on their regular schedules on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Severe Weather Update

The College is currently monitoring the weather conditions in the Gulf of Mexico. We will make a decision by 2 p.m., Monday, June 15 concerning whether or not Monday's evening classes will be held. Please check back here for the latest campus updates.
