Software Plug-ins, Add-ons, Add-ins
In computing, a plug-in (or plugin), add-in (or addin), or add-on (addon) is a set of software components that adds specific abilities to a larger software application such as Internet Explorer (IE) or Firefox. These may allow specific types of documents to be displayed or media (video or audio) to be played.
You may need one or more of these add-ins for your online course.
