Harry Koester, Jr. began serving as a Brazosport College Regent in July, 2007.


Civic and Professional Participation
Harry is a Board member of the Brazosport Health Foundation, a member of the Brazosport Rotary Club, and Advisory Council member of the Brazosport College Small Business Development Center.


Past and Present Work History
Licensed as a Texas CPA since 1976 with experience in public accounting and industry, Harry is self employed with a local CPA practice established 1983. Harry is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.


Personal Biography
Born in the Dow Hospital, Velasco, Texas, Harry attended the very first class held at Brazosport College in 1968.  He received his Associate of Arts degree from Brazosport College in 1971.  In 1972, Harry graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Brazosport College honored Harry with its first Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1990.


Harry lives in Lake Jackson with his wife, Dianne.
