Getting Others to Open Up - Lunch Session
Individuals, Team Members, Team Leaders, Supervisors
A Scenario:
You have people who say nothing during meetings. Body language says they don’t always agree with decisions. When asked, they say, “Oh, whatever everyone else decides is OK with me,” but you can tell they don’t really mean it. You could really use input from everyone in the group – this is a critical matter.
How do you get these people to talk, to you and the group?
During this session, we will discuss the following:
  • How to tell if people are withholding their opinions.
  • What to do to get people to start talking.
  • How to keep everyone talking without offending them.
This session highlights points from the CBIT course entitled “Essential Skills of Communicating.”
