Improving Work Habits - Lunch Session
Audience
This course is designed for anyone who deals with employees in a leadership role. Team or group leader, supervisor, manager, etc. Those who need to expand their communication ability when dealing with issues such as absenteeism, language issues, and dress and grooming habits (among other feedback issues).
Description
Note: This mini-session is a preview of the 4-hour course. You will receive only the basics of the full course. You may see the need for attending and/or sending others to the full course. Improving Work Habits (IWH) helps leaders learn to clearly and specifically communicate the nature of the problem.
 
Throughout the workshop participants will review video presentations and case studies, participate in group discussions. Participants leave the workshop with an understanding of the following:
  • Distinguishing between job performance and work habits
  • Recognizing work habit problems

 

What attendees miss in this shortened version is the actual skill points and practice of “how to address these issues”.
 
Objectives
Attendees become more aware of:
  • Differences between job performance and work habits.
  • Need to deal with work habits before they become performance and disciplinary issues.
  • How to deal with unsatisfactory work habits.
  • How to sustain improved work habits.
