Introduction to SkillBlocks® Troubleshooting
Audience
Reliability Engineers, Safety Professionals, Manufacturing Supervisors and anyone who would be expected to facilitate incident investigations as a routine part of their job.Designed for those who need a systematic approach to problem solving. This includes new hire employees with limited troubleshooting experience.
Description

This course trains technical personnel in root cause analysis techniques. It provides several problem-solving techniques, but stresses the cause and effect analysis process.

  • Describe how using a standardized problem-solving methodology contributes to successful problem solving.
  • Introduction of common terminology used to communicate EXCEL troubleshooting terminology.
  • Explain how EXCEL methodology is used to troubleshoot a problem.
  • Use logical thinking to determine possible and probable faults within a given system.
