Participating in Quality Problem-Solving Session

Learning how to participate well in teams in a quality improvement initiative can be half the battle won. Often the best ideas do not surface in team problem solving sessions because certain individuals feel hesitant to participate. Participants will learn how to contribute their ideas and encourage others to do the same thus achieving better solutions through cooperative action. Following area some of the learning objectives of this course:
  • Understand the value of taking initiative as a participant in a quality problem-solving session
  • Successfully demonstrate the Key Actions (covered in class) in a practice situation
  • Plan to use Key Actions to improve the quality of work processes and partnerships
