Audience
Reliability Engineers, Safety Professionals, Manufacturing Supervisors and anyone who would be expected to facilitate incident investigations as a routine part of their job.
Description

This course trains technical personnel in root cause analysis techniques. It provides several problem-solving techniques, but stresses the cause and effect analysis process.

  • To provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effective root cause analysis in order to positively impact the reliability of plant operations.
  • Determine which problems need root cause analysis and how to provide a proactive response
  • Provide effective solutions for day-to-day problems as well as catastrophic events
  • Facilitate investigations such that effective solutions are implemented
  • Spills and clean-up
