SPC for Process Industries
Process engineers and others who are involved in the application of SPC in chemical and process industries

This course focuses on the special aspects of implementing SPC in the chemical and process industries. Following are some of the learning objectives:
  • To understand why conventional control charts are often ineffective in the chemical and process industries
  • To learn how to design and implement CUSUM and EWMA schemes
  • To learn new control charting techniques to apply in systems with auto correlated data
  • To learn about the interface between statistical process control and engineering control
