Reliability Engineering Principles
Audience
Reliability Engineers, Design Engineers, Mechanical Repair Specialists (I.E. Rotating Equipment Specialists and Mechanical Analysts)
Description

This course will provide Reliability Engineers with a basic overall knowledge of reliability engineering principles as they apply to the chemical industry. Emphasis is placed on using data to determine the optimum balance between cost and reliability.
  • Introduce the field of reliability
  • Introduce specific reliability ideas
  • Increase student knowledge about reliability engineering
  • Show how to use common data for reliability studies
  • Use reliability concepts in a reliability project

Course Length 20 hours (​2.5 days) and 1 day six weeks later for project follow-up
