The 2015-2016 Clarion Performance Season will celebrate our 10th anniversary of presenting the world's finest performing artists.

Opening the season is Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt on October 30, 2015. The uncompromising musicality of Lyle Lovett and the soul-stirring lyrics of John Hiatt are combined to create one unforgettable evening. Two of America's most admired singer-songwriters turn The Clarion stage into their front porch for a rare and intimate acoustic evening, swapping stories and songs from throughout their incredible careers.

That's only the beginning of this season's list of Clarion performers, though.

On November 5, 2015, we have the best children's music of the past 30 years with Justin Roberts and The Not Ready for Naptime Players. Grammy Nominated, Justin Roberts is truly one of the "all-stars" of the indie family music scene. With numerous national awards and recognition and a devoted fan base, Justin and The Not Ready for Naptime Players dish out unexpectedly intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids and their parents.

The music continues on November 20 with Wayne Bergeron. Wayne is one of the most in demand trumpet players in the world. You may not recognize his name, but changes are you have been listening to him for years. Wayne has recorded with the greatest musical artists of all-time, including Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Green Day, Beyonce, Michael Buble, Josh Groban and Celine Dion to name a few. He has also performed on 300 plus TV and motion picture soundtracks. A partial list of film credits include "Toy Story 3," "Despicable Me," "G-Force," "Star Trek," "Marley & Me," "Superman Returns," "Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, and 3," "Ratatouille," "Ice Age 2" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

Christopher Cross brings holiday cheer to The Clarion on December 4. With 10 Top 40 hits and 5 Grammy Awards, Christopher Cross is truly a superstar. Christopher continues to delight audiences performing his hits songs "Sailing," "Arthur's Theme," "Ride Like the Wind," "Never Be the Same" and many others.

The New Year starts with the very best in jazz with Billy Stritch. On January 16, 2016, Billy Stritch appears as special guest soloist with our own Brazosport Jazz Orchestra. The jazz music continues with the legendary Branford Marsalis Quartet on February 5.

Aspiring classical music artist from around the U.S. come to The Clarion on March 4 for a live performance and broadcast recording of National Public Radio's "From The Top" starring Christopher O'Riley. Also in March is Steve Lippia starting in "Simply Sinatra". Steve Lippia performs Sinatra's greatest hits with our own Brazosport Symphony Orchestra on March 19.

On April 15 is Third Coast Percussion. Hailed by "The New Yorker" as "vibrant" and "superb," Third Coast Percussion explores and expands the extraordinary sonic possibilities of the percussion repertoire, delivering exciting performances for audiences of all music tastes.

The final show of the season is a local favorite, the Blue Water Highway Band on April 29, 2016. The Blue Water Highway Band performs a benefit concert for our "Spirit of Music Fund."
