Once you find what you are looking for in a library database, how can you retrieve that information?

Many Web-based periodical indexes offer a variety of options. Usually you can:

  • Print out the citations, abstracts or articles you find.
  • Save the information you find onto a disk. This is helpful if you must use a different computer to write your paper than to do your research.
  • Email citations, abstracts and text of articles to yourself.
