Description An intensive course that covers the concepts and principles of industrial process oriented chemical engineering.:
  • Develop the "language" of the chemical engineer
  • Learn the concept of material and energy balances
  • Understand the mathematics of the physics of momentum, heat, and mass transfer
  • Discover useful industrial equations for the estimation of heat exchangers, piping, pumps, mass transfer equipment, and reactor sizing and evaluations
  • Increase understanding and relevance to actual industrial processes by learning definitions and explanations and working through examples
  • Practice the principles learned by participating in numerous case studies
