Design of Experiments

Intended Audience Managers and engineers involved in product and process design.
Description This course focuses on the role of experimental design in product/process development, process improvement, response surface method, mixture designs, and robust designs. Following are some of the learning objectives:
  • To provide an in-depth understanding of experimental design fundamentals
  • To provide an understanding of product/process function, cost, quality, reliability, and overall field performance
  • To provide knowledge of computer software for design construction and data analysis
  • To identify key product and process parameters for optimization
