Welcome to CE at Brazosport College!

We are currently enrolling for all classes available in our Spring & Summer catalogs and the Women's Health Conference (May 16).

CE Graduation, for students who completed a workforce program or obtained their GED between April 2011 & April 2012, is Thursday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the Corporate Learning Center (behind The Clarion). Invitations have been sent to students who qualify. You are welcome to join us in support of the accomplishments of these students!

Choose the ONLINE REGISTRATION link or the individual category links on the left to visit our registration site. Once there, you can view available classes, descriptions, dates & times, and register for most classes online. If a class has special requirements, online registration may not be available and you will see our phone number instead. Just give us a call and we'll let you know how you can enroll for that program.

Register early to ensure your spot and to avoid cancellations & delays! A minimum of one week prior to the class start date is requested, however, classes do fill up fast so earlier is recommended. Registration for Spring classes begins on December 1, Summer registration begins May 1, and Fall registration begins August 1 each year. The catalogs are available here for you to view prior to those dates, but may not be mailed out yet depending on the semester. So mark your calendars and look here for the information first.

Check out the "Fitness Loft" information on pg. 28 of the Spring catalog. Located above the gym, it includes an array of exercise bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers, free weights and many other exercise machines. $25 per month or $85 for a semester (4 mo.) for area residents or $15 per month for BC students, allows you unlimited access! It's a good way to give yourself a little "you time" and take a well deserved fitness break from your studies!

Tax Credit for CE Courses

CE tuition is not recognized the same as credit tuition and cannot be reported on a 1098T form. The IRS does
allow a tax credit for tuition, fees & books for CE courses relating to workforce training & improving job skills-but
does not allow the credit for hobby & other general lifelong learning courses. To claim the credit on your taxes,
save a copy of your registration & bookstore receipts and complete IRS form 8863 with your tax return.
