What is Institutional Research (IR)?
 I think therefore IR
This is one of the most difficult questions to respond to in a way that is meaningful and someone can understand. A formal explanation is that it
is research that assists the institution in its planning, policy formation,
and decision-making. Assessment, faculty activity and productivity, enrollment management, student tracking, reporting (state and federal agencies), and data management are some of the activities undertaken
by the Office of Institutional Research. Some of the OIR products are
linked on this web page for your perusal and interest. Enjoy.

 Enrollment

The enrollment periods beginning in 2013-14 were extended making day-to-day enrollment percentage comparisons tenuous at best.  Use the percentages of total-to-total comparison as a guide rather than a
time-dependent comparison.   Thanks.
