Brazosport College Construction Trades Administrative Office Specialist Fanny Frausto recently earned certification as a proctor and coordinator for National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) testing.
In order to become certified to administer NCCER assessments, Frausto had to attend training and pass a certification test. She also maintains the data input through the NCCER National Registry.
“This is important to Brazosport College as we continue to see a growth and need in the crafts programs,” said Beth Cassidy, Brazosport College Director of Workforce Development and School Partnerships. “Fanny’s certification will allow us flexibility in meeting students’ needs for testing while maintaining the stringent standards of NCCER.”
The National Registry allows organization and companies to track the qualification of their craft professionals and/or check the qualifications of possible new hires. The National Registry also assists craft professionals by maintaining their records in a secure database.
