CNBT 1301 Introduction to the Construction Industry. CIP 1510010011
Overview of the construction industry. Includes organizational structures and systems, safety regulations and agencies, construction documents, office and field organizations, and the various construction crafts and trades. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: None.
 
CNBT 1302 Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems in Construction. CIP 1510010011
A presentation of the basic mechanical, plumbing and electrical components in construction and their relationship to the overall building. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: None.
 
CNBT 1311 Construction Methods and Materials I. CIP 1510010011
Introduction to construction materials and methods and their applications. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: None.
 
CNBT 1346 Construction Estimating I. CIP 1510010011
Fundamentals of estimating materials and labor costs in construction. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: None.
 
CNBT 1380 Cooperative Education I - Construction Technology. CIP 1510010011
Career related activities encountered in the student’s area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes a lecture component. (3 SCH, 1 lecture, 20 lab)
Prerequisite: Approval of the division chair.

Career related activities encountered in the student’s area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes a lecture component. (3 SCH, 1 lecture, 20 lab)
Prerequisite: CNBT 1380 and approval of the division chair.
 
CNBT 2335 Computer Aided Construction Scheduling. CIP 1510010011
Advanced construction scheduling utilizing computer scheduling software to perform various scheduling procedures. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: CNBT 1346 or approval of the division chair.
 
CNBT 2342 Construction Management I. CIP 1510010011
Human relations management skills in motivation on the job site. Topics include written and oral communications, leadership and motivation, problem solving, and decision making. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: None.
 
CNBT 2344 Construction Management II. CIP 1510010011
A management course in contract documents, safety, planning, scheduling, production control, and law and labor. Topics include contracts, planning, cost and production peripheral documents, and cost and work analysis. (3 SCH, 3 lecture, 0 lab)
Prerequisite: CNBT 2342 or approval of the division chair.
 
CNBT 2380 Cooperative Education III - Construction Technology. CIP 1510010011
