Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics assess injuries, administer emergency medical care, and extricate trapped individuals. EMS professionals transport injured or sick persons to medical facilities. Licensing and or certification is required. 

Brazosport College EMS program is leading the way in education of pre-hospital caregivers of the future and continuing the education of those already serving area communities. The EMS program is a CAAHEP accredited program.

The EMT Basic course is offered every semester along with the EMT Basic Clinical. This is an evening class, 2 nights a week.

EMT Advanced classes are offered during the week in daytime classes every semester.
