 Who can participate?

Any BISD student entering Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or Pre-calculus/Dual Credit in the fall of 2014.

Students will choose the dates and times that work best for them, regardless of current grade or math level.

 Where is the academy?

The Mathematics Bridge Academy is held on the Brazosport College Campus, 500 College Drive in Lake Jackson, in our new state of the art Mathematics Achievement Center. The Center is located towards the back of BC Central in room F-102.  This map shows the pick-up and drop-off location.

 What does it cost?

NOTHING!!! Thanks to the generosity of the Houston Endowment, the Mathematics Bridge Academy is FREE to any BISD 7th-12th grade student. In the future, Brazosport College hopes to secure funding to offer this program to other school districts as well.

 How do I get there?

BISD transportation will provide buses at no cost.  During the registration process, students will choose a BISD campus for pick-up and drop-off.

Students not requiring transportation will need to be picked-up and dropped-off near the visitor parking between BC Central and the Sadler Health and Science Complex.  Drivers will need to enter campus using the entrance closest to the railroad tracks.
