Information for student at other colleges taking BC courses reserved through VCT.
Student ID and Passwords are sent to the email account listed in the VCT reservation system the day before classes are loaded on the server, usually the Friday before classes start. If you do not receive this information, please contact Terry Comingore as listed in the contacts on the right.
You should be able to log on to the Blackboard Learning Systems server by the first day of class. If you have problems logging on, please contact our Helpdesk, (979) 230-3266.
Textbooks may be purchased through the Brazosport College Bookstore, http://www.brazosportbookstore.com/, with a credit card by calling (979) 230-3410.

Recommendations for your distance experience:

Read and live by the Syllabus. It is your guide to the semester.

Don’t procrastinate. The course can “get away” from you before you know it. Many teachers require regular activity.

Become familiar with the learning environment in Desire2Learn. Each teacher structures the course slightly differently so it’s important to know where to find the tools and materials used in each class.

Ask your teacher questions. If you don’t receive an answer in a reasonable time (24 hours during business hours or Monday after a weekend), please contact me.
