I LOVE my job! It is extremely rewarding to see students succeed at something they love to do!
 
I joined the team of instructors at Brazosport College in fall 2004 as an adjunct faculty member. Then, in the fall 2005, a well known and highly respected division chair and drafting instructor retired.  I became full time! It was an overwhelming feeling that faded quickly due to the amazing morale and support from everyone that works at Brazosport College.
 
It is interesting to see students in the very first course, unsure about themselves and questioning what they really want to do for a career... then, fast forward 4 or 5 semesters and they GRADUATE! It is a proud feeling for them and me.
 
Drafting Technology is an exciting field and our department has seen exceptional growth over the past few years.
