U.S. NAVY

U.S. Navy Officer and Navy pilot for thirty-one years.

Assignments included thirteen months in Vietnam, Tan Son Nhut Air Base, during Vietnam War and multi Cold-War deployments aboard aircraft carriers in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Persian Gulf areas.

Senior officer duties included commanding officer of a jet squadron aboard the USS John F. Kennedy, Operations Officer aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, Chief of Staff NATO Mediterranean Maritime Air Force, Naples Italy, Commanding Officer NAS Whiting Field, Florida, and Executive Assistant U.S. Naval War College Strategy and Policy Department, Newport, Rhode Island.

Highest military awards include Legion of Merit (2), Meritorious Service Medal (2), and Navy Air Medal.
