My Background
I was born in Corsicana, TX (Navarro County) but my family shortly moved to Freeport, TX. So I grew up in the Brazosport area, graduating from Brazosport High School in 1968. I attended Brazosport College from 1968-1969 before transferring to Sam Houston State University. I graduated from Sam Houston with a BBA in 1971 and began working for Exxon. I worked with Exxon a year before returning to Sam Houston to pursue a Masters degree in Business. I received my MBA in 1975. I began teaching with Paris Jr. College and while teaching there I received a Masters degree in Computer Science from East Texas State University, now Texas A&M at Commerce, in 1977. I came to Brazosport College in 1982 and began teaching Computer Technology classes.
My Interests
I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . . I love to collecting United States stamps.
