Loans

 

Brazosport College participates only in the subsidized Stafford Loan Program under FFELP (Federal Family Education Loan Program). While attending Brazosport College, qualifying students may borrow one subsidized Stafford loan per year for the following amounts:

  • Freshman - $3,500 (up to 30 earned hours)

  • Sophomore - $4,500 (31 to 60 earned hours)

For students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Technology program:

  • Junior - $5,500 (61 to 90 earned hours)

  • Senior - $5,500 (91+ earned hours)

All loan students are subject to the requirements stated in the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. Loan applications and additional information may be obtained in the Financial Aid Department.
