The fall scholarship application priority deadline is June 1. This deadline is for consideration in the first round of scholarship awards. Scholarship applications are taken on an on-going basis as scholarships are still available.
To qualify for a scholarship, students typically must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours), maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average and complete the FAFSA process. Applications are found on our homepage under FORMS; fill out the application online, print, sign and return with a letter of recommendation.
Specific types of scholarships

WISE SCHOLARSHIP- for current graduating seniors ranked in the top 50% of their graduating class. Other requirements for this scholarship include: enrolling full-time (12 credit hours) each semester while maintaining a 3.0 GPA. The current award amount for the WISE scholarship is $1000 ($500 per semester).

BASF TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP - designed to cover the cost of tuition, books and miscellaneous expenses to encourage students to pursue a process technology degree. Requirements include: place at 0407 College Math level (or higher) on college entrance exams, maintain 2.5 GPA while enrolled in program and not receive any D,F or W's. The scholarship is available for full-time, part-time and dual credit students. The current award amount ranges from $300 for dual-credit students, to $2500 for part-time (at least 6 credit hours) and $5000 for full-time.

HISPANIC COLLEGE FUND - In 2009, the Hispanic College Fund awarded approximately $3 million to 592 students nationwide. More than 80 percent of the scholarships that were awarded were for students studying business, science, technology, engineering, and math.
