Online Scholarship Application

When asked upon opening scholarship link if you want to open or save file, choose "open" and if asked for a User Name and Password choose "cancel" and continue completing the form.

Tips for Success

ATTENTION: The priority deadline for the 09-10 year is fast approaching! Now is the time to check your OASIS account and confirm that you have a completed file with us. Once a student has filled out their FAFSA using Brazosport College school code (007287) our office receives the Student Information Record from the Department of Education within a few days. It is imperative for students to sign their FAFSA electronically with their PIN number, otherwise the process will be delayed for several weeks. From this point on it is necessary for students to keep tabs on their financial aid account through OASIS. The financial aid account shows:

- forms received and/or needed
- amount of award
- financial aid status

If a student is on review, using a waiver such as Hazelwood or using Early High School graduation funds to pay for tuition, they must stop by our office every semester for the review hold to be lifted or waivers applied.

Files are continually processed throughout the year, however, only students with completed files by the priority deadline are guaranteed to know the status of their financial aid and award amount before the funds are due. Payment arrangements are needed for students with files completed after the priority deadline and if qualified, will be reimbursed. Students are encouraged to check the status of financial aid on OASIS, and are notified by letter of their results and award amount. ATTENTION DUAL CREDIT STUDENTS: It is especially important that you apply early and complete your file before the deadline. However, if your file is not complete by the deadline, check with the financial office about your status before paying for your classes as DUAL CREDIT AID IS NOT REIMBURSABLE. *Dual Credit Student registration begins one week earlier than regular student registration dates listed above.
