My name is Kelley O’Neal and I am the Faculty Advisor for the mentor program. I feel like I bring a rich background with me to Brazosport College.  I spent five years in the Detroit Tigers Baseball Organization before beginning my college career. After receiving my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Houston Baptist University I began teaching third grade with the Fort Bend Independent School District. I have also spent time as a Reading Specialist and I continue to be an Educational Speaker.  Although I was born and raised in Michigan, I certainly feel as if I have a new home here at Brazosport College. When I am not on campus teaching, talking with my peers or visiting with students, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family. I was blessed to have multiple mentors throughout my life, and I take my position now as a mentor very seriously. I truly enjoy helping others not only see their potential but I also want to help others reach their full potential.
