The Associate of Arts degree at Brazosport College opens the door for many possibilities. While completing the general education requirements for your first two years of college, you can explore a wide variety of interests.
The Associate of Arts program encompasses the basics of a traditional liberal arts education. The degree includes a core curriculum that all public colleges and universities in Texas will accept as transfer credit toward a four-year degree. The core curriculum is 45 credit hours of freshman and sophomore level courses.
You can then use Associate of Arts electives to explore different subjects or to concentrate in one area. With planning, you may also use these electives for transfer credit to your chosen major at a four-year institution. Our counselors can provide information about transferring your electives.
If you are transferring to Brazosport College from another college or university, we will evaluate and grant credit for courses you have taken which are comparable to those offered at Brazosport college.
