The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)
The QEP is designed for long term improvement of student learning in transitional (developmental) education in furtherance of the college’s mission. The four major initiatives are:
o Improve student learning outcomes in the classroom through assessment, communication, and professional development
o Create a formal, guided setting for students to set short and long term goals and create strategies for attaining these goals
o Provide a comprehensive learning skills initiative learning skills initiative, with connections to academic courses, that addresses the diverse needs of our students
o Enhance learner support services to better serve our students, both transitional and college level
