Brazosport College summer jazz concert on July 1

 Billy Loveless, 6/22/2011

Brazosport College's Department of Music will host a Summer Jazz Concert by the Brazosport College Summer Jazz Band at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1. The jazz band will be under the direction of Richard Birk. The performance will be offered at no cost to the public, and will be held in The Clarion, located just east of the main building at 500 College Drive, Lake Jackson.

“Come kick off your holiday weekend with some of America’s classical music – jazz! We’ll be playing everything from big band standards to brand new selections for contemporary jazz ensemble," Birk said. "I know the audience will enjoy the diverse offerings and I hope the community will join us for a great evening of jazz."
