The Brazosport Young Peoples Chorus is seeking new members for the 2011-2012 season. The new season will include a performance in the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday concert in December. The spring will feature a “The Sound of Music” revue with songs from the classic Broadway musical and film.

Auditions for new members will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Clarion at Brazosport College, with a workshop/social/lunch on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The chorus is sponsored by the Brazosport College Department of Music-Choral Activities, and is aimed to promote quality vocal training and music for students in the Brazosport area in grades 4 through 8. Charla Carey serves as the director.
