Mike Lowrey and the Community Foundation of Brazoria County recently awarded a $12,000 scholarship toward the Brazosport College Foundation’s Sponsor a Scholar program. The Community Foundation of Brazoria County Lowrey Scholarship will fund three part-time students at $500 per semester for four years. Students receiving the scholarships were Stephen Wise, Rosa Pilataxi and Brian Walker. The students were selected based on financial need, academic excellence and enrollment in a workforce program.
