The internationally-acclaimed Celtic Tenors brought some holiday cheer to The Clarion at Brazosport College recently. The Tenors presented some of the world’s greatest Christmas songs, wrapped in their unique and beautiful sound.
The show was sponsored by BASF and included a reception and meet-and-greet for invited guests.
The Celtic Tenors have established themselves as the most successful classical crossover artists to emerge from Ireland. Performing a mix of classical, folk, Irish and pop, the group, which includes Matthew Gilsenan, James Nelson, Daryl Simpson and musical director Colm Rogan, have thrilled audiences throughout the world.
With more than one million in albums sales, the Celtic Tenors have topped the charts in the USA, Canada, Germany, the UK and Ireland.
Upcoming shows scheduled at the Clarion include Mindi Abair on Jan. 21, Los Lobos on Feb. 3, Paul Cardell on Feb. 25, the Swingle Singers on March 23, and Mercury Baroque on March 31. The Los Lobos concert will be in the Dow Academic Center.
