The Missoula Children’s Theatre, which will be in Lake Jackson for a week-long residency, will be holding auditions for a production of “Cinderella” at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 15.
“Cinderella” will be performed for the general public at 1:30 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 20.
The auditions and performances will be held at The Clarion at Brazosport College, with roles available for approximately 50 to 60 local students from first through 12th grades. This is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be case.
Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15 to 30 minutes after the audition. This is a group audition and no advance preparation is necessary.
Rehearsals will be conducted every day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Clarion at Brazosport College, leading up to the performance on Aug. 20.

A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full four-and-a-half hours of rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack.
The Aug. 20 performances will be presented at The Clarion at Brazosport College. The students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performance that day. All those cast must be available for all scheduled performances. Performances are open to the public and admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for students.
