Thanks to a variety of diverse and inspiration speakers, the Brazosport College Foundation Women’s Lecture Luncheon Series has proven to be a success. Even better, the upcoming year could be the best yet.
Starting its third year, the Brazosport College Foundation will again host three different Lecture Luncheon speaking engagements on a variety of topics with experts in their fields. Dates for the events are Nov. 17, Feb. 16, 2012 and May 10, 2012.
This year’s speakers include author Catherine Musco Garcia-Prats, legal scholar Jonathan Turley and religious tolerance expert Dr. Jill Carroll.
The lecture luncheons will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Corporate Learning Center on the college campus.
The membership dues for all three events in the Lecture Luncheon Series will be $150. This includes all three lectures, lunches, and question and answer sessions with the speakers. Participants will receive a reservation card approximately 30 days before each lecture that will serve as an RSVP. One will be able to reserve a place for guests at that time.
Membership registration and dues must be received by Sept. 1. Seating is limited, so reservations should be made soon. Guest speakers reserved for the 2011-2012 season include:
