As a reminder, below is a review of what we are doing, keeping your safety top of mind.

  • Classes (face-to-face and online), including lectures, seminars, discussions, and/or presentations, will not be held this week (March 16 – 20).
  • Beginning March 23, classes will be offered online or through alternative formats until further notice.
  • The campus is closed to students and the public during the week of March 16. On-campus events and programming funded and sponsored by Brazosport College are canceled through April 30.
  • Students that are scheduled to take a test in the Assessment Center will be notified with rescheduled dates.
  • At this time, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Brazosport College. We are focused on disinfecting high touch point surfaces and common areas in an effort to help stop the spread of the virus.

Latest Updates and Resources

  • The ACE it office is working to devise options for the current situation and will notify campus as soon as there is an approved path forward.
  • We have compiled a list of resources for students who may be in need during this challenging period. You can view them on the COVID19 (Coronavirus) information page under the fourth tab titled “Resources.”

We will keep you informed about any updates as they relate to your work and learning at Brazosport College. Given the dynamic nature of this situation, we ask that all employees and students monitor BC emails, text alerts, social media channels, and webpage for the most up to date information. Meanwhile, we urge you to follow personal hygiene precautions and exercise social distancing measures as recommended by the CDC and local health authorities.
