The Brazosport College Department of Music will be hosting two concerts this week at The Clarion at Brazosport College.

The week’s events begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, with a concert of uplifting music featuring the BC Chamber Singers, Civic Chorus, Jazz Singers and the Clarion Singers.

The choir will be conducted by Ben May, while Dawn Grimes will be on piano. The concert is free to the public.

A day later, on Wednesday, Nov. 10, BC piano instructor Michael Lenahan will be featured in a piano recital. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Lenahan, who is based out of Houston, received his bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School with Jerome Lowenthal and his master’s degree at Rice University with Dr. Robert Roux.
