BC to offer in-person registration opportunities for Fall semester

Brazosport College is giving students an opportunity to get all of their in-person registration and enrollment needs easily and safely completed all in one place.

Through its One-Stop registration, students will be able to complete the steps needed to register for the Fall 2020 semester, including admissions, advising, financial aid, student services and tuition payment. Deans, counselors, admissions and financial aid specialists, and academic advisors will all be available to speak to students.

The events will be held on four days at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College. To ensure the health and safety of all who attend, students will progress through stations, depending on their needs, until they complete the registration process.

All students will be required to wear face coverings and observe all physical distancing rules, along with other health requirements. Students will also be required to participate in a health screening prior to entering the Dow Academic Center to start the registration process. Depending on the number of people inside the Dow Academic Center, students may have to wait in their vehicle until space is available for them to enter the building.

Dates for Brazosport College’s One-Stop-Shop registration are:

• Tuesday, August 4 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Monday, August 10 from 3 – 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 11 from 2 – 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 18 from 3 – 6 p.m.

Students are encouraged to have completed an application, which can be found at www.applytexas.org, before coming to the registration event. Students should also bring picture ID, proof of address, copies of transcripts and disability paperwork, if applicable.

Students can also register for Fall classes online — 24 hours a day, seven days a week — through the College’s registration system, MyBC.
