Brazosport College faculty member earns ACHE Regent’s Award

Brazosport College’s Bachelor’s of Health Services Management faculty member Dr. Grace Itiowe recently earned a Regent’s Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives SouthEast Texas Chapter (ACHE-SETC).

The Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE members in healthcare leadership positions who are committed to excellence in their service to healthcare organizations, community volunteer groups or the SouthEast Texas Chapter of ACHE.

The criteria for earning the award includes a demonstration of leadership ability; innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing an organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; participation in civic activities, as well as in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities; and participating in ACHE activities and assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.

Dr. Itiowe is the program chair for the College’s Bachelor’s of Health Services Management (HSM) program.
