Brazosport College’s Kids College is currently registering for educational fun
Summer fun is right around the corner at Brazosport College, as children ages 6 to 12 are invited to attend Brazosport College’s Kids College in July.
Kids College, offered through Community Education at Brazosport College, consists of fun, week-long programs on the Brazosport College campus. Children 6- to 8-years-old will attend camp from July 11 to 15, while ages 9 to 12 meet up July 18 to 22.
A variety of educational and entertaining classes will be offered, including archery, martial arts, cooking, robotics, music and chemistry, to name just a few.
Classes run from 8 a.m. to noon each day. Individual courses run just under an hour in length. The cost is $30 per class, per participant, with select courses requiring a $5 materials fee. All students meet each day in the gymnasium to be escorted by their instructors to their class locations on campus.
New this year, Brazosport College is adding an afternoon session for children 9-12, titled Kids College +. At 75 minutes in length, these courses have extended time for even more educational and fun opportunities. The cost is $45 per class, per participant, with some courses requiring a $5 materials fee. Classes offered in the afternoon Kids College + sessions include tennis, drones, robotics, grilling and more.
Registration for Kids College and Kids College + is currently open and availability is limited. Registration can only be completed online at Brazosport.edu/kidscollege. For more information, call (979) 230-3600 or email cecvm@brazosport.edu.
