Clarion Spring performance series to feature Diamond Rio, Roots & Boots
Live music is returning to The Clarion at Brazosport College.
The Clarion is pleased to announce the dates for its Spring 2021 Performance Season, which will feature a few of country music’s most well-known artists.
The Spring season will consist of two shows, including Diamond Rio on March 26 and Roots & Boots — featuring Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw and Pam Tillis — on May 14. Diamond Rio will be sponsored by BASF Corporation, while Roots & Boots will be sponsored by STP Nuclear Operating Company. Both concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.
Diamond Rio has sold more than 10 million albums, including three certified platinum and five certified gold albums, and has charted five multi-week No. 1 singles and 22 Top 10 singles. The band has also earned a Grammy Award, a Dove Award and six Vocal Group of the Year wins (CMA and ACM).
The Roots & Boots tour highlights three of country music’s top hit-makers. Tippin, Tillis and Kershaw have combined for 36 studio albums and an abundance of chart-topping hits. For Tippin and Tillis, this will be a return trip to the Clarion, as Tippin performed on the Clarion stage in 2013, while Tillis appeared as a member of the Chicks with Hits Tour in 2019.
Both shows will be limited-seating events, and social distancing and face masks/coverings will be required. For more information or to purchase tickets, call (979) 230-3156 or visit clarion.brazosport.edu.

The band is also known for their hits, “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” “In A Week or Two,” “Love a Little Stronger,” and more. Diamond Rio recently released their 10th studio album, “I Made It,” which features 11 new songs.
