Country music hitmaker Darryl Worley to perform at the Clarion on March 25

The Clarion at Brazosport College is excited to welcome country music chartopper Darryl Worley for a concert on Friday, March 25.

The show, which is being sponsored by the Brazosport College Foundation, begins at 7:30 p.m.

Through six albums and 18 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Song charts, Worley has produced one of the most impressive and wide-ranging catalogs in contemporary music and is a country music mainstay. He has topped the charts with the singles, "I Miss My Friend," "Awful Beautiful Life" and "Have You Forgotten?” 

He hit the Top 20 with the first three singles from his impressive major-label debut, “Hard Rain Don’t Last,” which included “When You Need My Love,” “A Good Day to Run” and “Second Wind,” and followed with smashes, “If Something Should Happen,” “I just Came­ Back From a War” and the iconic “Tennessee River Run.”

Along the way, Worley has sold nearly two million albums, earned nominations for five major ACM and CMA awards, including "Song of the Year" and "Single of the Year," and has written songs for other major artists. 

Tickets for the concert are $45 for adults, $40 for seniors and $20 for students and children.  

Worley’s show continues a busy 2021-22 performance season for The Clarion at Brazosport College. Remaining concerts in this season’s lineup include Gina Chavez on April 8 and Paul Shaffer with the Brazosport Jazz Orchestra on May 21.
