BC Community Education offering new hands-on culinary classes

Thu Dec 5, 2019

Brazosport College’s Community Education Department is offering the community three new cooking classes that will feature hands-on instruction from professional chef Debbie Warren.

The new classes available through BC Community Education’s new culinary series, “Let’s Get Cooking,” are “Heart to Heart Couples Cooking,” “Gourmet Desserts Made Easy” and “Speed Scratch Cooking.”

Each of the courses are three hours long and spaced a month apart. Students can sign up for an individual class or all three classes. The courses will be taught in Brazosport College’s newly-remodeled demonstration kitchen.

Even better, all three classes are taught by Warren, who has more than 35 years of experience cooking and entertaining for large groups. She has been teaching in Brazosport College’s demonstration kitchen since 2011 and is known for her fun and laid-back cooking style.

With Christmas right around the corner, these classes also make great gifts. Gift certificates are available by calling BC Community Education at (979) 230-3600.
