Reliability Engineering Principles

Audience	Reliability Engineers, Design Engineers, Mechanical Repair Specialists (I.E. Rotating Equipment Specialists and Mechanical Analysts)
Description	This course will provide Reliability Engineers with a basic overall knowledge of reliability engineering principles as they apply to the chemical industry. Emphasis is placed on using data to determine the optimum balance between cost and reliability. Introduce the field of reliability Introduce specific reliability ideas Increase student knowledge about reliability engineering Show how to use common data for reliability studies Use reliability concepts in a reliability project

Suggested Class Size	Minimum 15 Maximum 20
Course Length	20 hours (2.5 days) and 1 day six weeks later for project follow-up
