Roland K. Hendricks joined the Brazosport College Board of Regents in October, 2014.

Current Civic and Professional Participation

Hendricks serves as a board member of Communities in School in Brazoria County, where he also serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee; Treasurer for Texas Dow Employees Credit Union, where he also serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Succession Planning & Executive Compensation Committee; and a founding board member of the GMZ Education & Development Center. 

Past and Present Work History
 

Hendricks retired in 2015 as Finance Director and Texas Manufacturing Controller from The Dow Chemical Company after 35 years of service.  He is currently the CEO / Senior Consultant for RKH Consulting LLC and Senior Pastor of the Greater Mount Zion Church in Brazoria. 

Personal Biography

A 1976 graduate of Sweeny High School, Hendricks earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Before that, he graduated from Wharton County Junior College with an Associate of Arts in Business.

Hendricks is a lifetime member of the Sam Houston Alumni Association, as well as a member of the Sam Houston President’s Circle and the Sam Houston College of Business Advisory Board. He is also a lifetime member of the National Association of Black Accountants. 

Among the honors Hendricks has received include the National Association of Black Accountants National Achievement in Industry Award, induction into the Sam Houston College of Business Hall of Honor, the MLK Drum Major Award from the Martin Luther King Commemorative Committee and one of the Finance recipients of the Dow Transformation In Action Award.

Hendricks is married to Jean Carter Hendricks and they have two children, Ashlyn and Nicholas.
