Brazosport College participates in the retirement pension through the Texas Teachers Retirement System of Texas (TRS).  Additionally, faculty and certain administrative staff positions may be eligible for the Optional Retirement Program, which is a defined contribution plan.  Health coverage is provided to eligible employees through the Employee Retirement System (ERS) with coverage through either a PPO with United Healthcare HealthSelect.
