Operators are increasingly expected to understand basic instrumentation and be able to provide introductory troubleshooting when there is a process upset. This hands-on course will instruct process operators in the basics of instrumentation troubleshooting. Upon completion, the trainee will be able to:

  • Understand the primary variables, symbology and control loops
  • Perform basic troubleshooting through hands-on exercises
