This class is designed to give new and non-experienced operators and process technicians hands-on experience in safely operating the Process Equipment Trainer (PET).

The Process Equipment Trainer for Operators (PET), which operates like any industrial plant, was designed to provide new and non-experienced operators with practical hands-on training using a conventional life size process. Upon successful completion of training, the trainee will be able to:

  • Safely start-up, operate, run product lab analysis for product quality
  • Troubleshoot and shutdown the following systems: plant air, distillation lower and re-boiler, storage feed, vacuum, cooling condensing, and boiler/condensate
